Privacy Policy at Warrnambool Osteopathic Clinic
As part of becoming a patient at Warrnambool Osteopathy, we need to be able to contact you about your booked appointments, and have your current address on file for our legal medical records.
We prefer to have your email address and mobile phone number on file so we can send appointment confirmations and reminders.
We also need to know your relevant medical history when you come in for your consultation, so that treatment can be completed in a safe and informed manner.
We never share any of your contact or medical information without your permission - for instance, we may need to write to your GP to request further investigation or tests. We will only do so with your express consent for that specific communication. We will ask you for your permission every single time we need to communicate with another of your healthcare professionals.
Sometimes, Osteopaths like to consult each other on complex cases. If this includes your case, Dr Anna will ask your permission to discuss your case with her colleagues, and will also keep all your information anonymous when discussing your case.
We will not leave phone messages that divulge any information given to us. If we need to speak to you and you don’t answer, we will simply leave a message asking you to call us back.
We never sell, share or discuss your details with any outside organisation. We do not use your contact information for any reasons other than those directly related to treatment at Warrnambool Osteopathy.
